Chapters 17 and 18 Summary

In Chapter 17, the new crew is undergoing virtual training and getting used to their new sleeves. Hand points out a new crevice in the virtual world where the Martian ship is.

In Chapter 18, as the shuttle launches with all of the new crew on board, they are talking about getting used to their new sleeves. As the crew is getting ready to land on the planet, the Mandrake government briefs the crew on the danger they are flying into when they reach the planet. The crew also finds out that the bombing on Sauberville occurred from the ground level.
