Section 2: Book 1, Chapters 4 & 5 Summary

In Chapter 4: Gesture, Bella greets her guests, worrying about how the werewolves will react to her transformation. After dancing her first dance with her husband, Bella dances with Charlie before Edward takes her back. As Edward compliments his wife on how beautiful she is, he stiffens and smiles, telling her that she has a surprise wedding present. Edward spins Bella in the opposite direction and thanks Jacob for coming. Delighted at her best friend's appearance, Bella dances with Jacob who tells her he wanted to see her one last time. Jacob is glad to learn Bella will not start the transformation tonight, but he erupts when he learns she plans to have a real honeymoon, and the wolves force him to leave. Bella changes after the reception, and she is sad as she tells her parents goodbye, knowing it...
