Chapter 38, Ooh, Bomber! Summary

Pussy enters a disco-pub that is full of soldiers. Mistaken for a girl, Patrick dances with one of the soldiers. Suddenly, the soldier who Patrick is dancing with lay dead on the dance floor. Bodies are strewn about and Pussy, who was near the point of detonation, is covered in soot and his nylons are ripped to shreds. Patrick (Pussy) stands in the middle of the room and laughs, thinking how he must get a new pair of nylons. Patrick is put in an ambulance when the police arrive and is taken to a hospital where his 'little secret' is discovered. The police are convinced that Patrick is the bomber. Patrick reads a newspaper article accusing him of the bombing; the caption above a picture of Patrick at the scene of the crime reads "Sweet Smile of a Killer...
