Chapter 35, Detention in the School of Dr. Vernon, Late October 1974 Summary

Patrick is with a client named Dr. Vernon, who enjoys acting like a schoolmaster and punishing Patrick. Patrick is frightened at first, thinking that Vernon might be another Silky String, but he soon finds that the worst thing Vernon does is make him write the phrase "I Must Not be a Bad Mandy" 100 times. Patrick moves in with Vernon, but soon regrets doing so.
