Patrick is kicked out of his cottage, which had been paid for by Eamon, and moves in with Charlie and her parents. One evening while watching David Bowie perform his Ziggy Stardust routine on television, Mr. Kane (Charlie's father) comments that David Bowie has a "head on him like Barney Gillis's cockerel!" Upstairs, Charlie and Patrick play 'Charlie's Salon' as Charlie pretends to be a stylist. Patrick decides to leave Tyreelin.
