The media and the effect they have on people’s lives are shown to be both good and bad depending on how that attention is used. For Luc, the tabloid articles written about him are devastating to his psyche and trigger an immense amount of self-loathing as he tries to get ahead of it. However, his public appearances prove that the media can be used for one’s benefit if handled correctly.
Much of Luc’s emotional trauma revolves around the media, especially after Miles takes their relationship to the tabloids when he and Luc were struggling.
