Chapter 35 Summary
Pritchard and his uncle are interrogated by Sir Henry Sykes to learn exactly who the uncle called and what the telephone number was. The Pritchards are such idiots that they think they have been serving a group of world leaders, who are in pursuit of dangerous criminals. They never get the point that Sykes tries to make to them and are persuaded that they were acting in the best interests of the Webb children. Under duress, the uncle finally gives the Paris phone number to Sir Harry.
Holland calls Johnny St. Jacques and informs him that Marie is on her way back and that Jason is on his way to Russia. Krupkin meets Alex and Jason at the airport in Moscow as they are spirited off the Aeroflot jetliner out of sight of the other passengers. They go first to what is supposed...
