Chapters 23 and 24 Summary

Eleni and Ev go to the tea party at the school. Ev and Eleni both notice that Andrea's mother is very mean and critical of Andrea. They both end up leaving the tea party feeling sorry for Andrea. Eleni takes Ev to her favorite burger place. While they're eating, they talk about how Eleni's mom died of cancer when she was 12. Eleni asks is Ev remembers anything about her mom. Ev tells Eleni that her dad still loves her mom and Eleni says she knows. As they arrive home, Ev tells Eleni she thinks she remembers her mom's smell. As Eleni watches Al building something outside, Ev can tell that she really loves him. That night at dinner, Phoebe makes Ev make a wish on an eyelash. Ev wishes for the baby to be healthy.
