Chapters 21 and 22 Summary

At school, the teacher moves the desks around. Ev finds herself sitting next to a girl that introduces herself as Kate. Kate is friends with Clara Bing. Kate invites Ev to have lunch with them. at lunch, the girls talk about books and movies. When Ev gets home, Eleni is waiting for her in the kitchen. Eleni asks about her day and tries to give Ev a snack. This time, Ev makes an effort to answer Eleni's questions. Eleni also mentions the tea party at school and how she's been looking forward to attending with Ev. Eleni knows about it because she is on the baking committee for the event. Eleni asks Ev what she should bake for it and Ev says something chocolate because everyone likes chocolate.
