Chet Moran

Chet Moran is the main character in “Travis, B.” He grew up in rural Montana and currently lives in the small, rural Montana town of Glendive. He is 22 years old and works as a ranch hand. He leads a lonely life, and he suddenly becomes infatuated with Beth Travis, a young female lawyer who commutes to Glendive to teach a class. When Beth stops teaching the class, Chet visits her in Missoula to express his feelings for her.
