Summary
Chapter 1
Born to Fight is the second book in a trilogy by author Tara Brown. Nineteen-year-old Emma joins with the ragtag “family” she has created to take on the sinister forces that have turned the world upside down and are now attempting to create a perfect race of people. At the same time, she struggles with her confusing emotions as she is torn between two brothers who care about her.
Chapter 1 opens with a girl named Emma trying to awaken from a dream. She is strapped to a metal table and has been there for an undetermined period of time while a doctor injects her with drugs and perhaps performs medical experiments on her. However, she feels that today is the day she will die because she plans to escape but is too weak to survive. She longs for Leo, her wolf companion...
