Chapter Twenty and Chapter Twenty-One Summary

In Chapter Twenty, Shannon and the others have returned to Blackthorne Cottage. Shannon asks Brianna if she can see the letters that Amanda and Tom Concannon wrote to each other, but before they can begin Maeve and Lottie arrive at the cottage. They offer to take care of Maggie and Rogan's summer home in France for a while, and Maggie is amazed. Murphy comes to get Shannon and as they leave for his house he confesses he missed her every minute. He loves the dulcimer and is awed that Shannon got it for him. They make love upstairs in his bedroom, inside for the first time, and Shannon tells him she loves him again.
