Chapters 12 through 15 Summary

In Chapter twelve, Kylie spends a half hour on the phone with Sara. At the end of the conversation, Sara asks what she's going to do without Kylie for the entire summer and Kylie says they'll both simply have to survive it. Kylie is in a secluded area behind the office for the duration of the phone call and when it's over, she dozes off. When she wakes, she realizes she isn't alone but soon discovers Della is there. Della says she's been sent to find Kylie for the group campfire event. Kylie and Della talk on the way back about the fact that Della wouldn't steal blood from a person but Della does warn that there are rogue vampires who don't abide by that common rule of courtesy.
