Summary
In "10/2," Cohen the Narrator landed in Berlin and was met by a man named Maleksen, who was supposedly working as Balk's agent. Cohen the Narrator is now left with only 166 Euros since he splurged on Iz and has not been reimbursed for his travels by Principal. He thinks of all the things he would like to search for online but cannot. He also laments the fact that Tetsuite's word processor automatically punctuates users' writings and how it auto inserts accent marks. He is able to go out and buy some groceries, but his Visa is getting rejected everywhere he goes.
Aside from Maleksen, Cohen the Narrator wonders who Balk's Berlin contacts are and how he can contact Balk. He decides to hold onto Principal's passport and thinks about pawning the antiques in the flat he is staying in for some extra money.
