Red/Vince

Red (also known as Vince by Charlie) represents what happens when one is nurtured rather than depending on their nature. As a shadow, it is expected that Red was going to become a monster. He is being fed all of the negative parts of Remy’s personality and treated as nothing more than a thing to be controlled. Then, even as Salt forces Red to kill for him, he still develops human emotions and some level of empathy, proving that one can be nurtured to go against their nature and become something new.
