Summary

Chapter 24: "Sad Songs on Repeat" opens as Charlie learns that Posey’s UMass appointment is a month overdue, but she does not know if she made the mistake or if Doreen’s brother got involved. The woman gives her until Monday and hangs up. Then, Charlie calls Vince’s boss, only to learn that Vince has not shown up in days. As Charlie decides to seek out Liam, she gives her shadow blood. She learns that he is a resident at Baystate Medical Center with everything to lose but she finds a picture of him with Vince. From there, she pretends to be someone else to get into the cafeteria and deletes a message from Adam, cursing her out.

Eventually, Liam arrives and the narrator says that women con artists have many disadvantages, but are also not usually looked at in suspicion. Charlie...
