Phoney Strikes Back or Solstice; Book Four: The Dragonslayer Summary
In chapter one, Lucius is quickly loosing the bet to Phoney because of the villagers' fear of the dragon and Phoney's claim to be a dragon slayer. Phoney offers to call off the bet if Lucius will just tell the people that dragons do exist. Lucius says that the dragons don't want people openly talking about them, but Phoney ignores him. Meanwhile, Thorn, Gran'ma and Fone are attacked by rat creatures while traveling to Barrelhaven.
In chapter two, Thorn takes Gran'ma's sword and badly wounds the leader of the rat creatures, Kingdok. Although Gran'ma, Thorn and Fone are all alive, they are separated.
