Chapter 21-25 Summary

Chapter twenty-one begins with the chef having lunch with his mother. She agrees to give him money. They have a chat over lunch and the chef is able to keep his problems from her although she knows he doesn't look well.

In chapter twenty-two Tommy is at the restaurant when Stephanie comes up to him and begins to ask if he is dating Cheryl. Tommy tries to give Stephanie stalled answers and tells Stephanie to ask Cheryl when she gets back into town from visiting her mother. Stephanie finally gets Tommy's attention and they walk into a back room where they have sex.
