Chapters 25-30 Summary

Chapter 25 finds Anita in the woods on the way to the lupanar with Marianne and Anita's group. Marianne tells Anita that if she embraces Raina's munin she will have more control over it and suggests a rite in order to do so. Anita is only able to perform a rite by using ritual or sex and is unwilling to do either with Marianne and Roland present. Anita sends them ahead of the group and tells them they will meet them at the lupanar. Marianne is concerned because Anita, Jason and Cherry struggle after the munin has left them, but goes on ahead.

Jason senses the men in the woods that the group had fought outside the police station the day before. Jamil suggests that Anita and Jason pretend to be lovers and he will send the others ahead to the lupanar...
