You’ll Go Down in Hi-Sto-Ry (Like Lincoln!) Kiran describes how important it is for him to win the talent show this year, so he can make up for what he considers to have been brilliant, colorful artistic successes having led to increased, and increasingly nasty, teasing by classmates. Along the same lines, he says, there was the time that everyone in class was told to present a report on a historical figure in the character of that figure. He presented a report on Abraham Lincoln in which he dressed not like the mature Lincoln but like a photograph he had seen of the young Lincoln, in a yellow shirt and brown trousers.
