Summary
The Intrigue of a Tit – Kiran begins his quest to become more like Krishna by identifying a set of the god’s attributes, or characteristics, that he needs to emulate: Krishna’s blue skin; his capacity to be extravagant and a “show-off”; his ability to play the flute; his fondness for butter; and his “status as the ultimate lover” (42-43). This last, he thinks, means that he has to find a girlfriend. He also thinks that at least one way to realize some of these goals is to prepare for the talent show at school, and get good enough to be dazzling.
