Anita Blake
Anita Blake is the main character in the novel BLOODY BONES, by Laurel K. Hamilton. Anita is a necromancer, or someone who is able to raise the dead, as well as a licensed vampire executioner. Anita is a strong woman, though small in size, with a deep sense of justice and honesty. Hired by Raymond Stirling to raise the dead in a cemetery to prove ownership of the land, Anita becomes entangled in a series of events that force her to draw on her inner strength to persevere.
