Chapters 26-30 Summary
In chapter 26, Anita struggles to her feet and begins to battle. Jean Claude is quickly overcome by Janos. Larry fights while trying to protect the girls from harm as well. After a hard fight, Anita struggles to Jean Claude's side where he lies on the floor, very still. Afraid that he is truly dead, Anita sees no alternative but to give the vampire blood. Blake slits her wrist and holds it to Jean Claude's mouth and he begins to drink, draining blood from her quickly. Larry announces someone at the stairs and Jean Claude is finally aware enough to let Anita go. Jason takes her place and offers more blood. A flag of truce is waved from the stairway and Magnus descends. He offers his blood to Jean Claude as well, but the vampire declines. Magnus extends Serephina's apologies, telling the...
