Left to clean the apartment, Tommy is furious at Jody's angry reaction. He bangs around the apartment, throws up, and then decides he needs a shower and takes the turtles out of the tub. He sees them awkwardly navigating the room and decides that they need freedom. Tommy is about to load the turtles into a cab when one of the sculptors downstairs offers to take them, assuring Tommy that he doesn't intend to eat them. Tommy hands off the turtles to his neighbors and takes the cab to work.

Jody finds herself at Macy's in Union Square, along with other broken-hearted women seeking comfort through shopping. With newfound confidence, she buys a sexy little black dress...
