Jody and Tommy make love again, but both are trying too hard to impress each other. Jody, feeling insecure about the situation, tells Tommy that she'll understand if he doesn't want to stay with her. She mentions that she's lived with ten men, and Tommy assumes she's an ancient vampire. They get into a tiff, and Tommy says he feels used. He's intrigued, though, when Jody says drinking blood is a sexual turn-on, and in the end, Tommy wants to have sex again. Jody tells him to get dressed, and Tommy starts riddling her with questions about being a vampire, most of which she can't answer.

Tommy finds the police officer's card in his pocket and remembers to tell Jody about the murder...
