Chapters 25 and 26 Summary

In Chapter 25, when the Strigoi enter, both are women. Lee begs them to awaken him and he will also provide them with a dhamphir. As one of the Strigoi drains Lee of all his blood and then refeeds her blood to him, nothing happens and Lee dies. When one of the Strigoi tries to drink Sydney's blood, she says it is disgusting and cannot drink it. As the Strigoi are taking turns drinking Adrian's blood, Sydney finds the spell bag she made for her history teacher, which is to create fire. Fire is one thing that Strigoi can die from, so Sydney throws the amulet at the Strigoi, saying the spell and the Strigoi catches on fire. The other Strigoi puts the fire out.
