Chapters 44 - 47 Summary
It takes Terry two days to find the place that Noone/Crimmins drew during his hypnosis session. Playa Grande, located between Rosarita beach and Ensenada, is a small village, with a motel, a pottery store, a restaurant, a small market and a Pemex station. A stable rents horses to ride on the beach which is what makes Terry stop. On the beach, he finds the rock enclave that Noone/Crimmins drew. The place is beautiful. Terry checks into the motel. He tries Graciela again, and when he gets her machine, he tells himself that she doesn't want to talk to him. He climbs into bed and sleeps. When he wakes, he looks around his room, and sees Raymond's fishing rod in the corner. Terry goes to the clerk and threatens him, and he tells Terry that he was paid to call...
