Chapters 25 - 27 Summary

Returning to the marina, Terry finds the package from Carruthers containing the most recent Kenyon summaries. He refreshes himself on the case and most recent updates. He reads the killer's last comment which parrots a line from the Godfather: "Don't forget the cannoli." McCaleb thinks about the the comment and realizes the man who killed Jim Cordell says the same thing. He watches the video again and the words match the lips exactly. He calls Jaye right away and she chastises him for not having checked his machine over the weekend but he cuts her off, absolving her quickly before telling her that he's found a connection. He can't explain why the victims are related, so he tells Jaye to sit on the 'cannoli' thing for now and reads through the entire file, but learns nothing new. He sees the two...
