Chapters 22 - 24 Summary
Raymond catches three fish, and Terry makes them all dinner. Afterward, they settle Raymond into his bunk and Terry and Graciela talk. Graciela asks Terry about his box of cases and the names attached to the files, and Terry tells her about the Code Killer, who's habit was to leave a code behind at each murder. Despite all their efforts, they are unable to crack the numerical sequence and the Code Killer seems to have had a connection with him, sending personal notes and taunts. She asks about the photo above the bunk Raymond sleeps in, and Terry is unable to tell her. Later, unable to sleep, he gets up to check his vitals, and she comes to him. They hold each other, but before anything can happen, she stops him, telling him she wants to take things slow. She asks...
