Chapter 40-42 Summary

In chapter forty, Harry and Murphy are lead into the Deeps. Harry is very shocked at the state that the cave is in. It is highly decorated and looks very comfortable. There is modern lighting, pillows and rugs everywhere. Raith introduces Harry to his assistants, Madge, Genosa's first wife, and Trixie, Genosa's third wife. Thomas is chained to the floor in the middle of the cave. When Thomas asks where wife number two is, Raith says that she was too eager to help and blew the blow dart at Harry. Madge announces that she sacrificed her as punishment. Trixie begins screaming that she helped and then screams at Raith. Madge takes her hand and says a word over Trixie. Trixie suddenly writhes on the floor unable to breath. Raith picks Trixie up and throws her over the edge of the cliff...
