Chapter 6-10 Summary

In chapter six Verna and Warren arrive at the Palace of Prophets where several Sisters are waiting for them. The prelate's ring is on a pedestal surrounded by a powerful spell. The Sisters posses the power to drain the spell but have agreed that they should try each person in the Palace to see if the spell was intended for a specific individual. None of the Sisters were able to get close to the ring. Verna is able to walk up and take the ring. She finds a note stating that she is the new prelate and it is signed by Annalina. Verna is immediately bowed to by the other Sisters as she walks quickly out of the room. Warren is waiting for her in the hall and Verna and he leave the Palace to talk in private.
