Chapters 25-27 Summary

The police ask for Vivian. They tell her that Kelly's room was vandalized and that she suggested Vivian as a suspect. Vivian tells them she didn't do it. Gabriel arrives and claims that Vivian was with him all night. The police disapprove, but accept the alibi and leave. Esme begins to lecture Vivian, but Gabriel says it is his business as pack leader to talk to her. He is surprisingly kind, and advises Vivian that she needs to let Aiden go or she will end up hurting him or Kelly.

Gabriel calls a pack meeting to discuss the latest murder. He arranges patrols in pairs, to try to discourage the murderer from killing again. The meeting ends and the pack disperses. Astrid and Rafe linger outside kissing. Quince arrives at the house and gives Vivian a letter from Aiden. It tells...
