Chapters 23 - 24 Summary
In Chapter 23, since none of her friends remember, Cammie throws herself an 18th birthday party. It is a lavish affair with catered food and champagne. Adam arrives and tells Cammie that he is sorry about bringing up Anna the other night. She tells him that she does not want to hear about Anna at her party. Sam approaches Cammie and tells her that she thinks Anna was framed in the "Hermosa Beach" scandal. Cammie scoffs and disagrees, but her thoughts reveal that it was actually Cammie who called in the tip under the guise of being Anna.
At the end of the party, the party planner tells Cammie that her credit card was declined. Cammie tries several more cards and none go through. She insists that the credit card machine is malfunctioning and asks Dee to use hers. Dee's goes through...
