Chapters 19 - 20 Summary

In Chapter 19, Mo Bad tries to hit on Cammie with his thuggish drawl and Cammie calls him out, telling him that she knows that he is a fake. He lets down his guard and talks normally, inviting Cammie and Adam to a party somewhere else. Cammie and Adam go and spend time on the dance floor grinding to the hip-hop music. Dee arrives and says that she is there with Mia, though she cannot seem to find her. Cammie is worried and she and Adam start searching for Mia. They find her in an alleyway, drunk and high with a guy who looks to be in his early twenties. Cammie and Adam get Mia to the car and head out. Mia falls asleep almost immediately and Cammie confides in Adam that she feels protective towards Mia because she does not want...
