Chapters 13 - 15 Summary

In Chapter 13, Adam takes his mom's car to the Hollywood Bowl, an outdoor amphitheater, where he has tickets to see Beck perform. His seats are in the lawn, in the nosebleed section, and he wishes that he had brought binoculars. Cammie arrives alone at the show with two backstage passes and the intent of tracking down Adam. She walks through the lawn area and Adam calls out to her. She lies and says that one of the passes is supposed to be for her friend Dee but that she got backstage because of her boyfriend Stevie. Cammie pretends that she likes Beck and Adam seems impressed. Cammie and Adam watch the concert from up close and then attend the after party. Adam sees Beck and Willie Nelson playing guitar in a quiet area away from the party and he is invited...
