Chapters 1 - 2 Summary

Chapter 1, Like a Sister: "Blonde Ambition" is the third novel in a series about Anna Cabot Percy. The books are set in Beverly Hills, California and Anna is an 18-year-old who has recently moved to the area after growing up on the Upper Eastside of New York City. "Blonde Ambition" follows Anna as she continues to adjust to the Hollywood way of life, making friends and enemies along the way.

When the story begins, Anna wakes up to the sound of her cell phone ringing times in her purse. She does not want to get out of bed to answer it because she lying beside her new boyfriend, Ben Birnbaum.
