Summary
In Chapter 20, Beauregard went dancing at Danny's with Kia, Kelvin, and his girlfriend. Though he was having fun, Beauregard could not stop thinking about "Eric, Caitlin and little Anthony" (132).
While Beauregard ordered drinks, a man with a scar threatened him. Understanding the implications, Beauregard texted Kelvin, telling him to take the girls home. Once they left, the man and his partners cornered Beauregard. Though they would not reveal who sent them, they said if Beauregard did not come with them, their other guys would kill Kelvin and the girls. Beauregard consented.
