Chapter 17 Summary

Lila calls Claudia to tell her Carla had a baby girl. Lila is excited to have a half-sister, but Claudia is slightly disappointed. Lila's going to visit the baby because she was born in New York. Lila tells her mom that she's flying to London to visit her father and for business. Lila says she'll visit her mother at Christmas with Jerome.

Julia is taking a stand that her marriage to Peter mustn't end. When Peter picks up Victoria from the station, he realizes Victoria looks so happy because she's in love. Peter slips his arms around Julia, apologizes and tells her he loves her very much.
