Chapter 5 Summary

Lila Barron often walks to her job as a financial investment banker at First City. Lila uses power walking to work as a way to burn off all of the energy she has. She is very competitive. She prefers to go au natural, and rebuffs designer name brands, manicures and facials, but she's also pursued by some of the most popular men at work. While she is very strong and independent, she is also very sensitive when it comes to what people think of her.

She shares a flat with two other English girls, even though they live in New York. Her strength and her weakness is her very emotional state and public display of these emotions.
