Chapters 12-14 Summary

Chapter 12:

Roz comes into the kitchen to find the kids amidst the usual morning chaos. Everyone grins at Roz, able to read her mood. David teases her about the lasagna. Stella offers Roz a ride to the nursery since it is raining.

Stella attempts to subtly grill Roz about Mitch. Hayley is much more to the point. Roz wants to tell the girls to mind their own business but doesn't. The girls want Roz to know that they are happy for her.

Roz goes to her monthly garden club meeting. She runs into several people whom she thinks are her friends. Mandy approaches Roz and makes a scene. Mandy talks about the lies Roz is spreading, clearly believing the lies told to her by Bryce. Some of Roz's true friends stick up for her, including her oldest customer.
