T'Challa
T'Challa is the King of Wakanda and holds the ceremonial title of Black Panther. As Black Panther he is sworn to protect his home nation. After being away from Wakanda for an extended period he returns to find growing distrust of the monarchy and the wider Wakandan government. T'Challa must stop The People's attempt to overtake the government, regain the trust of The Midnight Angels, and restore the national identity of the Wakandan people.
The Black Panther historically has acted and ruled independently, with the citizens of Wakanda obliged to trust his or her judgement. T'Challa sees this style of ruling is no longer viable in the modern world. He knows he must somehow balance the traditions of Wakanda's past with the demands of the contemporary world.
