Summary
Moses had stopped going to work, focusing on his garden instead. When his colleagues coming to check on him, he saw them as garden gnomes. He received gardening advice from his lawyer neighbor, Kolo Loupangou. He resented his advice even though he was a great gardener and read books on the subject. When Moses told Kolo Loupangou he was staring at his spinach to see it grow, his neighbor realized that Moses had some kind of health problem. Over the next few years as Moses’ memory and gait got worse, Kolo Loupangou told him he thought he needed help.
