Summary

In Chapter 20, the party begins to travel north again, as the boy seems to be heading towards Kongor. They purchase passage on a boat, and in the night, Tracker and Mossi have sex. Mossi speaks of his past; he used to be married and have children, but Mossi became an outcast from his family. Tracker speaks of his own past and his hatred for witches. Mossi asks if Tracker simply hates women in general, but Tracker dismisses that idea. The party arrives in Kongor, and Tracker can smell that the boy is somewhere in the city. By coincidence, the party encounters Leopard, who then gives them shelter. Leopard is tracking the boy as well. Leopard decides to rejoin the party.
