Chapters 17 through 25 Summary
Carroll boards a plane for Florida as soon as he learns that a Florida drug dealer talked about the Wall Street bombing the day before it happened. On the way, Carroll considers the possibilities and continues to believe that the plan called for more patience than most of the known terrorist cells were capable of. He suspects the information of the Florida drug dealer as being too easily available but makes the trip anyway. When he arrives, FBI Chief Clark Sommers makes it clear that he'll be handling the arrest. Carroll agrees and the group heads to the home of Diego Alvarez. Before they're in place to storm the home, Alvarez rushes out of the house using his cook as a shield.
