Summary

Willow goes on a date in Chapter 10 with a guy she met online and, to whom, she had been sending nude photos. Although she has a one date rule, and she doesn’t want to let herself get attached to anyone, Willow falls for January when he arrives late. She begins to plan her own small business, possibly starting a podcast on Voodoo. Readers also learn in this chapter that Willow mismanaged the healing business she was running in New Orleans and had to return to California after she lost everything. Willow has also called a long-lost relative to visit the Montroses and possibly help.

Chapter 11 picks up with Augusta, who is awake in the middle of the night and knows Willow has gone out on an escapade. She doesn’t judge her granddaughter for being coquettish, however, because Augusta remembers when she...
