Byron
Byron is Eleanor and Gibbs’ oldest son. He received an elite education and works for an institute helping to map the seafloor. He finds his work challenging and draws parallels between that and his work. Byron became so popular in his field by virtue of being talented and a diverse voice that he was often on television appearing on late-night talk shows or documentaries.
Byron always made his parents proud by finishing his education and following in the footsteps they had hoped both of their children would. For this reason, Benny is resentful of her brother because she was not able to finish college and find a path in the same way he was.
