The Between

The Between is a cosmic space between worlds where Mr. G takes Fort to collect joy. While it is only directly seen in the story titled "The Griot of Grover Street," it is implied that the Between is what connects every other story. Therefore, the joy that Fort collects is coming from each one of those tales.
