Chapters 16-20 Summary

Chapter 16. Cooperation. Mabrother Iris shows Gaia an image of her mother sleeping in a room with two other women, reassuring her that her mother is still alive. To try to show that she is cooperating, Gaia tells Mabrother Iris about the tattoos. Then he shows her computer images of the ribbon that contains her parents' code. As he describes the attempts to decipher it, Gaia comes to realize the code is more than likely her father's. Gaia agrees to try to decipher the code. Gaia is taken to a room then where she is allowed to shower and begin work on the code.

Chapter 17. The Baby Code. The guard who takes her to the room, a friend of Captain Grey's named Sgt. Bartlett, saw the diagram of the tattoos that Gaia drew for Mabrother Iris and asks her if the code...
