Summary

Mirari and the Knights arrive in Althaea Main and are greeted by Gaven. They will attend the Grand Ball later that night, a grand event for region leaders and top nobles across the Alliance held every five years. Gaven informs Mirari that he has secretly been tracking down members of the Blessed, and she agrees to help him. As Mirari leaves, Gaven opens a jewelry box containing the kirinva stone Roselyn had given him. He reminisces about how the stone brought him to Althaea, hinting at his regret for never seeing his family again.

At the Grand Ball, the Knights reunite, and Mirari is introduced to Gaven’s superficial associates, including a noble winemaker named Inigo Tepis, whose house holds equivalent power to the Hales.
