Summary

In Part 2, Owen and Jill Darvish enjoyed dinner with their longtime friends, Cathy and Mark. Mark displayed his low self-esteem as Owen discussed his newly-minted title of “Sir Owen Darvish” on the heels of Mark losing work due to his age and injuries. Jill helped to change the subject and lift Mark’s spirits. During the course of dinner, Owen recounted how Jill had inherited the property from her father and was too attached to it to sell it, so they kept the house but subdivided the property. Mark, still unhappy with Owen’s good fortune and his own lack of success, discussed the Darvish’s inability to sell the property because of the landslide, categorizing it as unlucky. Jill’s patience ran out and she violated their non-disclosure agreement with Robert Lemoine, informing Mark and Cathy that the American billionaire had purchased...
